Prime Minister Tony Blair of Britain stoked a simmering debate over religious tolerance and cultural assimilation on Friday, saying it was the duty of all immigrants to integrate into British society.

He says being British is all about tolerance. While he was directly addressing terrorists, the question remains as to which definition of "tolerance" he was using.
