"Former German chancellor Gerhard Schroeder has blamed US president George W. Bush's strong religious beliefs for why the two countries eventually fell out over the Iraq war." Personally, I thought it was Germany's illegal oil contracts with Iraq and the fact that they were supplying materials to Iraq to produce WMD's.
