Papuan tribe finds parallels between Jesus' birth and traditional custom

A local custom that proscribes women from giving birth at home helps tribal people in Papua province identify with Jesus' birth in a manger, say a local woman and a priest.
I guess it might make a sermon illustration, but a woman going out into the woods to give birth so her husband can't witness it seems a bit of a stretch, no pun intended.
