• Religious strife in Iraq

A few weeks ago, a young woman who was a member of the Yazidi sect fell in love with a Sunni Muslim and converted to his faith. Other Yazidis, whose religion incorporates elements of Judaism, Christianity and Islam, stoned her to death.

Maybe we'd have an easier time in Iraq if we understood the religious background there.
