Australia is proposing to add a "school chaplain" the same way some schools have a "police liaison officer." "The chaplain, who would be chosen by a school community and then vetted by the Federal Government, would be required to provide pastoral care, spiritual guidance, comfort and support for grief-stricken students, like those affected by last week's multiple car crash tragedy in Lismore."
